HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!!
i have been thinking about you all day, (even though you have been asleep most of my day). but i hope you have an amazing day, even though im not around to be with you! hopefully mom makes you a fabulous cherry pie! you are the best dad that anyone could ever ask for. i love you so much, even when you make lame "dad joke" like "pay cash" and "adult front ribs." you can always make me laugh--but we all know its not to hard to make me laugh, so thats not saying too much. i know you would do anything for me, and i greatly appreciate everything. thanks for everything you have done for me, especially this trip to Europe, and thanks for making me who i am. thanks for sending me to byu, for making me a huge dodger fan, taking me to boston, letting me carry on the family motto of "you ask for it you get it" on vacations (which i am using while on this trip) but the list could easily go on and on.
i love you so much. you really are the best dad.

ah man, what a nice note for dad. "adult front ribs" - what a dork, huh? you also forgot the "fun size" m&m's and how much fun he has when he eats them.
i guess leigh IS the favorite daughter after all with that post.
Leigh, I DID make Dan a cherry pie for his birthday! You know me so well. I noticed the new yellow shirt right away. cute MOM
