im not very good at this

im always so delayed in my postings, but im sure you dont mind too much. last week was halloween, the best partying time in provo. and it was a great weekend cause one of my best friends jessica came up for the weekend. we have been planning this trip since about june, so we were super excited that it finally arrived. (oh and jennalyn was in town, or was she? i cant really remember it since she was around for .5 minutes) when i went to pick up jess her flight was arriving an hour and a half early, but when i got there, it showed it wasnt coming in for another hour. i was super bugged since i had nothing to do. luckily annie was in sandy so i was able to meet up with her for a bit. on halloween jess and i went up to campus to surprise jason and daniel with jessica in town. being on campus was the most bizarre thing i have ever seen. i already knew BYU kids were kinda weird, but this just solidified my feelings. there were so many weird costumes including: pac man, a mime (who stayed in character the entire time) and a lot of other crazies. for halloween me and a bunch of my friends dressed up as french maids (or confused for desperate housewives). we got the costumes for annie who bought them in el salvador this summer. they were so fun to dress up as. im not too into dressing up for halloween so it was a perfect costume cause it was still fun without having to go all out.

The festivities of Halloween included:

the ward party, fully of great costumes, dancing and an all around great time with my favorite friends

....and the alpine village party on actual halloween, which turned out to be kind of a bust. so instead we went to the parking lot, turned up the music in nick's car and danced there for about an hour. that was the highlight of the night. a lot of my freshman year friends live at alpine so we ended up running into them while dancing. we also went to a small party at our neighbors house at lanai which was also fun to see all of our friends from the ward and just chill there. i absolutely LOVE dancing, so of course halloween was so much fun!

on saturday was jessicas birthday so we went and got breakfast with jennalyn and daniel for her birthday. we went out to dinner later that night and had friends over to sing happy birthday to her and eat some cake. it was really fun having her becoming friends with all of my friends up here. hopefully she gets into BYU for next year.

school is stressing me out this week and so it inhibited me from having lots of fun this past weekend, i usually never get stressed in school, but this next few weeks might kill me. luckily christmas (and the day after christmas) arent too far away.

just think, you will be home in less than 2 weeks. i remember when i used to love to dance. and then you get married and have kids and only dance really dorky because your toddler thinks it is funny and then you think, do i even remember how to dance?
