fun weekends

ive noticed that my past few posts are all about the weekends, i guess thats a part of being in college--you do lots of fun stuff on weekends. last weekend jennalyn was in town, unfortunately i saw her for about 2 1/2 hours--two of which were spend sitting close to each other at conference. i guess thats what happens when your best friends move on to new best friends that they can kiss. i went to conference with jennalyn her bf and my roomie annie. while we were in conference i got my car towed. not surprising i know. annie, being the sweetest person that she is, paid for the expense since she felt at fault. but ive promised to take her out to dinner a few times to compensate. on sunday morning we put on a GREAT conference breakfast and invited some people from the ward. we had about everything--french toast, eggs with onions and peppers, sausage and bacon and lots of fruit. it was quite the feast.

this week in school went by super fast, thats easy when i feel like i only have school for like 3 1/2 days. i had two tests and tried to get in some research in between. of course i watched the dodger games and was quiet disappointed. after the last game i not only hyperventilated but then fell of the couch and just laid there for awhile in misery. on thursday night i went to the opening game on the rio tinto stadium for the first game of the Real Salt Lake season. i went with whitney, taylor and a new friend in the ward kris. it was fun, but really cold. unfortunately i was talked in to leaving early--i know probably the first time i have left a sporting event early. on friday i hung out with cortney. that was really fun, we went to brick oven and then just back to her place to hang out. i love spending time with cortney and paul. paul is awesome, i hope that my future husband will be like him. yesterday we went to the game. go cougs! i dressed super warm--dont worry dad, i didnt wear flip flops. i layered a lot and brought my ski coat in case it was to snow. luckily it didnt and we pulled out with a win, even though we played terribly. i ended up sitting with kelly and wade for the whole second half. it was really fun to sit with kel and chat and experience a cougar football game in the non student section, which was a lot better than expected. then it was out to dinner with lots of people in the ward. i have been hanging out with annie and christina a lot and getting to be better and better friends with them. i love them both and as christina said the other day--definite best friend potential.

thanks for the pic. i told you old people aren't half bad. and of course you have to branch out in the friend category when your other bffs have boyfriends. how boring.
